Watching Arachnophobia on TV recently took me back to seeing it in theaters for the first time. We were so scared! When we got home, fake spiders kept appearing everywhere—in the rolled-up toilet paper, in our bed, and even inside the cereal boxes.
I kept wondering how my mom managed to hide all those fake spiders so quickly, especially since she went to the movie with us! She always found a way to create those core memories that I cherish today.
This memory inspired the theme for our trunk at Downtown Thiensville’s Nightmare on Elm Street! We had a blast at the event. Trick-or-treaters lined up to reach into our mystery box and find our "lost spiders," and we even had Arachnophobia playing in the background for added suspense.
What’s your favorite scary movie? We’d love to hear!
